Secondary abstract: | The contemporary poets Tomaž Šalamun and Arthur Sze have inherited from the Romantic Era, and specifically William Wordsworth, the legacy of transcendental threshold moments. Both of these contemporary poets come to this same juncture by way of surrealism and the use of woven narrative. The catalyst of kinetic energy within the white space of the poem is imperative to this transformative vision of the sublime. |
