Abstract

Namen raziskave je ugotoviti razlike v odnosu do športa in poučevanja športa med športno bolj in manj aktivnimi učitelji razrednega pouka ter povezavo med odnosom do lastne športne aktivnosti in odnosom do poučevanja predmeta šport pri razrednih učiteljih. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 164 učiteljev razrednega pouka iz različnih osnovnih šol po Sloveniji. Podatke za raziskavo smo pridobili s pomočjo ankete in jih obdelali v računalniškem programu SPSS Statistic 22. V raziskavi sta bili uporabljeni deskriptivna in kavzalno-ne eksperimentalna metoda. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da obstajajo v odnosu do športa in poučevanja športa med športno bolj in manj aktivnimi učitelji razrednega pouka tako razlike kot podobnosti. Glede vzroka in motiva za ukvarjanje s športno aktivnostjo med športno bolj in manj aktivnimi učitelji večjih razlik ni bilo zaznati. Rezultati so pokazali tudi, da športno bolj aktivni učitelji pripisujejo športni aktivnosti večji pomen kot športno manj aktivni. Pri spodbujanju drugih oseb k športni aktivnosti, pri pogostosti spremljanja športnih dogodkov in dojemanju dosežkov slovenskih vrhunskih športnikov pa razlike med skupinama niso statistično značilne.

Secondary title: Differences in relationships towards sports during physical education and teaching sports between more and less active elementary school teachers
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the research was to determine the differences in the attitude towards sports and teaching PE between more or less active elementary school teachers and the connection between teachers' attitudes towards their own sports activities and towards the teaching of PE among elementary school teachers. In the research there were 164 teachers included from various primary schools across Slovenia. The data of the research was obtained with the help of a survey and processed in the computer program called SPSS Statistic 22. The descriptive and causal non-experimental methods were used in the research. The results of the research showed that there are both differences and similarities in the attitude towards sports and teaching PE between more or less active elementary school teachers. There are no significant differences between more or less active teachers regarding the cause or motive for engaging in sports. The results also showed that teachers who are more active in sports attach more importance on sports activities than those who are less active. There are no statistically significant differences between the two groups when it comes to encouraging other people to participate in sports activities, in the frequency of monitoring sport events and in the perception of our top athletes' achievements.
