Abstract

Njihovo širšo uporabo omejuje predvsem slaba odpornost proti vodi, povišani vlažnosti in temperaturi.

Secondary title: Polyvinyl acetate adhesives for wood
Secondary abstract: In the first half of the 20th century, synthetic polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) adhesives started to substitute natural adhesives in the furniture industry, because they had good performance, they were cheap and easy to use. PVAc adhesives consist of polymer polyvinyl acetate and different additives. They are thermoplastic adhesives for non-structural applications. Wider use of PVAc adhesives is limited by low water, moisture and temperature resistance
