Abstract

Asertivnost je pomembna komunikacijska veščina, ki je še posebej pomembna za izvajalce zdravstvene nege. Zavedati se moramo, da je dobra komunikacija osnova na poti k kakovostni, strokovni in odgovorni zdravstveni negi. Ko se bomo naučili pravilnega komuniciranja v družbi, službi in družini bomo lahko gradili kvalitetne medsebojne odnose in reševali konflikte na primeren način. Najprimernejši način je s pomočjo asertivne komunikacije. Namen diplomskega dela je bil predstaviti asertivno komunikacijo in opisati pomen asertivne komunikacije v zdravstveni negi. Cilji diplomskega dela so bili ugotoviti poznavanje in razumevanje asertivnega vedenja med medicinskimi sestrami in ali medicinske sestre uporabljajo asertivnost kot pomembno komunikacijsko veščino na delovnem mestu.

Secondary abstract: Assertiveness is an important communication skill, which is very important and useful for nursing. We must realize that good communication base towards quality, professional and responsible nursing care. When we will learn proper communication in social, professional and family will be able to build quality relationships and resolve conflicts in an appropriate manner. The most appropriate way is by using assertive communication. The aim of my work was to present assertive communication and describe the importance of assertive communication in nursing care. The objectives of my work were, to determine knowledge and understanding of assertive behavior among nurses and found out if the nurses using assertiveness as an important communication skill in their workplace.
