Abstract

Cilj diplomske naloge je opisati in predstaviti razvoj sodobne spletne aplikacije, ustvarjene s pomočjo tehnologij, ki so primerne za produkcijsko okolje, in se danes uporabljajo v nekaterih najbolj obiskanih spletnih aplikacijah. Spletna aplikacija služi kot informativni portal, ki uporabnikom omogoča pregled nad trenutnimi vremenskimi razmerami, izdanimi opozorili s strani agencije ARSO, in vpogled v interaktivno vremensko karto. Uporabniki si lahko ustvarijo tudi svoj račun in si shranijo lokacije, ki so za njih relevantne, kar jim ob naslednjih obiskih portala omogoča hitrejši dostop do želenih informacij o vremenu.

Secondary abstract: The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe and present the development of a modern web application created with the set of technologies that are production ready and are used in some of the most popular web applications to date. The web application serves as a weather portal that allows users to review the current weather conditions, see the warnings issued by the ARSO agency and view an interactive weather map. Users can also create their own account and bookmark the locations that are relevant to them, which enables them to access the desired information about the weather more quickly on each subsequent visit to the portal.
