Prva pomoč pri opeklinah

Abstract

K sreči se z obsežnimi opeklinskimi poškodbami ljudje ne srečujemo ravno pogosto. K temu pripomorejo vse večji ukrepi za preprečevanje opeklin, ključnega pomena pa je tudi znanje, oziroma osveščenost ljudi tako pri preprečevanju opeklinskih poškodb kot pri nudenju prve pomoči, kar pri opečenem lahko pripomore k boljšemu rezultatu zdravljenja. Glavni namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati seznanjenost laične populacije različnih starosti z nudenjem prve pomoči pri različnih vrstah opeklin. Raziskavo smo opravili s pomočjo 50 anket, ki smo jih ponudili naključno izbrani laični populaciji. S pomočjo vprašalnika, ki je vseboval 20 vprašanj odprtega in zaprtega tipa, smo ugotovili, da so anketirani večino informacij o nudenju prve pomoči pri opeklinski poškodbi dobili na tečajih, ob tem pa niso prepričani, da znajo ustrezno poskrbeti za poškodovanca z opeklinsko poškodbo. Z raziskavo smo ugotovili, da napak v prvi pomoči pri opeklinah, ki bi najbolj izstopale ni bilo in da je osveščenost anketiranih dokaj dobra. Nekaj anketirancev je samo izrazilo potrebo po dodatnem izobraževanju na tem področju.

Secondary abstract:	Fortunately, with extensive burn injuries people do not encounter very often. This helped due to increasing measures to prevent burns, but crucial is knowledge and also awareness in the prevention of burn injuries in the provision of first aid, which could be helpful to improve the outcome of burnt treatment. The main purpose of this thesis was to explore the awareness of the lay population of different ages by providing first aid for different types of burns. The research was conducted with the help of 50 surveys, which were offered to randomly selected lay population. With the help of a questionnaire, which contained 20 questions open and closed type, we found that the respondents most of the information about the provision of first aid in burn injuries received in courses. They do not belive that they can take proper care of the injured due to burn injury. Research has shown that errors in first aid for burns that stood out the most was none and that awareness of interviewed was quite good. Only a few respondents expressed a need for more education in this area.
