Vloga diplomiranega zdravstvenika v helikopterski nujni medicinski pomoči

Abstract

V Sloveniji se je leta 2003 začel poskusno izvajati projekt Helikopterske nujne medicinske pomoči (HNMP). Namen diplomske naloge je bil predstaviti službo HNMP in vlogo, ki jo ima diplomirani zdravstvenik - reševalec. V nalogi je opravljen pregled nekaterih enot, ki izvajajo helikoptersko nujno medicinsko pomoč v Evropi. Glavni cilj diplomske naloge je bil prikaz specifičnosti dela diplomiranega zdravstvenika - reševalca. Ob tem je prikazana evalvacija dela HNMP v obdobju od junija 2003 do decembra 2006 in primerjava slovenske HNMP z nekaterimi referenčnimi službami v Evropi ter rezultati začetkov rednega dela HNMP. Za potrebe pisanja diplomske naloge smo si pridobili podatke o delovanju nekaterih tovrstnih služb v Evropi. Uporabljena je metoda retrospektivne študije podatkov o opravljenem delu projekta HNMP v Sloveniji. Dobljeni podatki so statistično obdelani s pomočjo računalniškega programa (Excel, SPSS) in so ustrezno interpretirani. Rezultati kažejo, da je diplomiran zdravstvenik eden izmed trdnih členov zdravstvenega tima, ki sodeluje v enoti HNMP in ima bistveno vlogo pri izvajanju postopkov zdravstvene nege kot tudi pri izvajanju medicinsko tehničnih posegih po naročilu zdravnika. Diplomsko delo dokazuje smiselnost rednega delovanja enote HNMP, na to kaže naraščanje prevozov in nepokritost nekaterih območij v Sloveniji z enoto HNMP. HNMP je skrajšala čas od trenutka nenadnega obolenja ali poškodbe do sprejema v bolnišnico, kar je še posebej pomembno pri stanjih, kjer odloča čas. Zaradi tega si NMP brez HNMP v Sloveniji ne znamo več predstavljati.

Secondary abstract:	In year 2003, an experimental project called Helicopter emergency medical assistance (HEMA) has began in Slovenia. The purpose of this graduation essay is to present the service and the role, which has a graduate medical technician. This essay conducts a review of some units, which perform Helicopter emergency medical assistance in Europe. The main goal of this essay was to show the occupation - specifics of a graduate medical technician. Trough that we showed the evaluation of HEMA work in the period from June 2003 to December 2006, and the comparison of the Slovenian HEMA with some reference services in Europe, as well as the results of the beginnings of the regular HEMA service. For the purposes of this writing, we gathered information about the work of some similar services in Europe. The method of retrospective data studies has been used in order to elaborate the work of the HEMA project. The obtained data was statistically processed with the help of computer programs (Excel, SPSS) and is interpreted appropriately. The results show that the graduate medical technician is one of the solid members of the health team, who participates in the HEMA unit, and has a vital role in performing health care procedures as well as performing medical technical intervention ordered by a doctor. This essay proves sense of a regular HEMA unit’s activity, as the increased transportation and uncoveredness of some areas in Slovenia indicate. HEMA has shortened the time from the moment of unexpected illness or injury to the reception in the hospital, which is especially important in conditions when time plays a significant role. Therefore, EMA in Slovenia cannot be imagined without HEMA anymore.
