Abstract

V diplomskem delu so na kratko opisani antibiotiki, njihove vrste, delovanje, kemijska struktura in zakaj postanejo bakterije odporne na njihovo delovanje. Prav tako so v diplomskem delu opisane čistilne naprave in njihovo delovanje, katerim sledi podrobnejši opis različnih vrst naprednih oksidacijskih procesov z opisom reakcij, ki prihajajo v veljavo v sistemih čistilnih naprav. Napredni oksidacijski procesi lahko povečajo biorazgradljivost odpadnih vod in s tem pripomorejo pri odstranjevanju antibiotikov prisotnih v odpadnih vodah in zmanjševanju njihovih emisij v okolje.

Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, there is a brief description of antibiotics, their types, action mechanisms, chemical structure and why bacteria become resistant to them. After that, a description of wastewater treatment plants and their working progress takes place, followed by a more detailed description of advanced oxidation processes with a closer look into the reactions of different advanced oxidation processes, which are being enforced in wastewater treatment plant systems. Advanced oxidation processes can enhance the biodegradability of wastewater, which helps with the removal of antibiotics present in wastewater and to reduce their emissions into the environment.
