Abstract

Secondary title: Numerical calcultation of short circuit voltage in power transformer
Secondary abstract: In the first part of the thesis, we defined three-phase power transformers, described the generator transformer, the control transformer and the transformer with three windings, described the short-circuit voltage problem and gave analytical formulas for its calculation. In the main part of the thesis we focused on modelling the transformer in the FEMM software environment and calculating the short-circuit voltage via magnetic energy in the transformer window. The calculations were performed for three types of transformers, namely a generator transformer or block transformer, a two-winding control transformer and a three-winding control transformer. In the last part of the thesis, the results obtained numerically were compared with those obtained through an analytical formula. On the basis of the comparison, we wrote a conclusion on the appropriateness of using numerical approaches in the calculation of short-circuit voltage of power transformers.
