Abstract

Diplomska naloga zajema simulacije s pomočjo računalniške dinamike tekočin lovilnika olj, v katerega priteka tok vode določenega volumskega pretoka, ki vsebuje različno količino olja v toku. Za izvedbo diplomske naloge je bila uporabljena poenostavljena oblika lovilnika olj, ki je bil razvit v podjetju Roto Eco d.o.o. Za numerično analizo lovilnika olj je bil uporabljen računalniški program Ansys CFX. Izvedenih je bilo več kombinacij toka, pri katerih je bil reguliran volumski pretok in vsebnost olja v toku. Po izvedenih simulacijah smo prišli do rezultatov, kako se obnaša tok v lovilniku olj in bypassu, ki regulira količino dotoka v lovilnik, kakšno vrednost doseže hitrost toka, kakšna je vsebnost olja v toku in kakšen je absolutni tlak v lovilniku in bypassu.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of oil separator
Secondary abstract: This thesis includes computational fluid dynamics simulations of an oil separator, which receives a flow of water of a certain volume flow rate, containing different amounts of oil in the flow. A simplified design of the oil separator developed by Roto Eco d.o.o. was used for the thesis. Ansys CFX was used for the numerical analysis of the oil separator. Several flow combinations have been implemented to regulate the volume flow and oil percentage of the flow. The simulations we have carried out have given us results of the behaviour of the flow in the oil separator and bypass, which regulates the amount of flow into the separator, the value of the flow velocity, what the oil percentage of the flow is and what the absolute pressure in the oil separator and bypass is.
