Abstract

Simulirali smo različne scenarije in določili okvirno število avtonomnih mobilnih robotov, delavcev in preverili ustreznost ostale opreme. Z analizo toka vrednosti smo izvedli primerjavo starega in novega sistema in s tem potrdili ustreznost sistema.

Secondary title: Modeling and simulation of material handling system using autonomous mobile robots in a manufacturing plant producing moulded components
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis addresses a new material handling system at a manufacturing plant producing moulded components. The system includes autonomous mobile robots combined with other material handling equipment. A simulation should be carried out prior to the set-up of such a system. Therefore, the Flexsim software was used to make a simulation model of the whole factory together with all the material handling equipment. Various scenarios were simulated, an indicative number of autonomous mobile robots and workers was determined, and the adequacy of other equipment was verified. The old and the new systems were compared using value stream mapping, confirming the suitability of the system.
