magistrsko delo
Abstract

evaluation of dust particles emissions at welding and cutting processes |
Secondary abstract: |
During the welding and cutting processes, various fumes are released, which have a great impact on the health of the operating workers. As part of the master's thesis, sampling and analysis of dust particles released during various welding processes was carried out. Welding procedures used were TIG and MIG with different additional materials and different process parameters. The same basic material, AlSi alloy, was used in all of welding procedures. Gases that were released during the welding processes were captured by the GilAir Plus device, in which a membrane filter was installed, which serves for filtration and capture of dust particles. The air flow rate responsible for collecting dust particles was 0.5 l/min, which is also the maximum value in terms of filter permeability. The sampling time for all procedures took place in a time interval of one minute and a room temperature of 25 °C. The chemical analysis of dust particles was carried out with an scanning electron microscope equipped with an EDS analyzer. Particle classification was performed according to the ISO 13322 standard according to particle size, geometry and number. |
