Abstract

Umetna inteligenca postaja vedno bolj pomembna tehnologija, ki se uporablja v filmskem procesu. Tako se pojavlja vprašanje, ali lahko ta tehnologija avtomatizira človeško delo in ga tudi kasneje nadomesti. Prejšnje raziskave so se v večini ukvarjale le s predelavo obstoječih programov z umetno inteligenco in njihovo implementacijo. V tem diplomskem delu smo s pomočjo opazovalne in komparativne metodologije sledili delovanju raznih vtičnikov. S tem smo prišli do zaključka, da je umetna inteligenca že pomemben del filmskega procesa, ki omogoča avtomatizacijo, zaenkrat pa še ne more povsem nadomestiti umetniškega razumevanja filmskega ustvarjalca. Prvi koraki v to smer se vendarle že pojavljajo.

Secondary abstract: Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly more important technology used in the filmmaking process. Thus, the question arises whether this technology can automate human work and even replace it later. Most of the previous research were focused on existing programs and their implementation. In this thesis, we followed the operation of various plug-ins with the help of observational and comparative methodology. With this, we concluded that artificial intelligence is already enabling automation but is still not able to completely understand the artistic aspect of filmmaking. Yet the first steps in that direction have already appeared.
