diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje
Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je bilo raziskano področje varovanja urarskih hiš in draguljarn. Opravljeni intervjuji so pripomogli k poglobljenem razumevanju o grožnjah in o varovanju urarskih hiš in draguljarn.

Secondary abstract: |
In the diploma thesis, the area of security of watch boutiques and jewelry stores was studied. These are facilities that are threatened by many threats, from natural disasters to criminal acts such as theft, burglary and robbery. Dealing with the aforementioned threats in the given area is proving to be an extremely demanding task. Various security measures are in use, most often offered and established by private security companies. Physical and technical security measures, which are connected into a security system are in use. With the help of a prepared questionnaire, an anonymous interview with five owners of watch boutiques or jewelry stores, or with their employees was conducted. The interviews were conducted live, during working hours. The interview was limited to questions that do not interfere with the privacy and business secrets of the participants. The conducted interviews helped us gain a deeper understanding of the threats and the security measures of watch boutiques and jewelry stores. In the introductory part of the thesis, the importance of security, reviewed the functions of private security companies, and its regulation in the Republic of Slovenia was defined. The purpose of the thesis is to gain an understanding of the organization of security measures in use in facilities with valuable goods, such as watch boutiques and jewelry stores. The threats facing such facilities and described some of the methods used by perpetrators to commit various forms of criminal acts were reviewed. The types of security measures that are used and which of them prove to be more useful than others were also taken into account. Lastly, the future of security in the area in question, and reviewed the possibility of applying new systems was reviewed. The security of watch boutiques and jewelry stores has proven to be a complex area that needs a lot of attention to effectively deal with threats. |
