Abstract

S pomočjo rezultatov CHN analize, IR spektroskopije in UV-Vis spektroskopije, sem ugotovila sestavo dveh neznanih vzorcev. Vzorca sta bila sintetizirana z reakcijo med (pyH)5[MoOCl4(H2O)]3Cl2 in KSCN v acetonitrilu. Odstranili smo rožnato oborino in v filtrat rdeče-rjave barve dodali vodo. Vijolična produkta sta izkristalizirala po dodatku pyHCl (spojina 1) ali pyHBr (spojina 2). Neznani spojini sta pyH8[Mo2O3(NCS)8]Cl4 (spojina 1) in pyH8[Mo2O3(NCS)8]Br4 (spojina 2). S pomočjo programa Mercury sem preučila njuni kristalni strukturi in pridobila izračunana difraktograma.

Secondary title: Characterization of two coordination molybdenum compounds with the same coordination moiety
Secondary abstract: Using the results of CHN elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and UV-Vis spectroscopy I determined the composition of two unknown compounds. The compounds were obtained with the reaction of (pyH)5[MoOCl4(H2O)]3Cl2 and KSCN in acetonitrile. After the pink precipitate was removed, water was added to the red-brown solution. Purple crystals were obtained after the addition of pyHCl (compound 1) or pyHBr (compound 2). Unknown compounds are pyH8[Mo2O3(NCS)8]Cl4 (compound 1) and pyH8[Mo2O3(NCS)8]Br4 (compound 2). I studied their crystal structures and obtained the calculated diffractograms using program Mercury.
