Abstract

Posamezni scenariji so določeni na podlagi prevladujočega tipa energentov (zemeljski plin, bencin, dizel) in upoštevajo različne obsege širjenja rabe električnih vozil.

Secondary title: National and European Goal Analysis of Renewable Energy Sources in Transport
Secondary abstract: In line with the European Renewable Energy Directive and the National Energy and Climate Plan, Slovenia set a target for different shares of renewable energy sources in transport for 2030. These objectives can be achieved through different ratios of energy sources and technologies, which need to be evaluated in terms of quantities of individual sources of energy, feasibility and efficiency, with a goal of reducing overall CO2 emissions. The thesis first identifies possible scenarios, based on the regulatory constraints, and then, based on the developed model, defines different quantities of energy sources with the aim of identifying the appropriate energy mix. The individual scenarios are based on the dominant energy type (natural gas, petrol, diesel) and different levels of electric vehicle uptake. It turns out that achieving the 2030 targets requires a mix of energy sources, with both the deployment of advanced biofuels and using electrification more intensively. By considering the feasibility of different scenarios that achieve set targets, we define those suitable for further analysis and development.
