Abstract

Glas naroda, časnik ameriških Slovencev, je izhajal v New Yorku od leta 1893 do leta 1963. V diplomski nalogi sem popisala in analizirala količino leposlovja, ki je bilo v časniku objavljeno v obdobju med letoma 1941 in 1945, zastopanost posameznih literarnih zvrsti in avtorje objavljenih leposlovnih del. Drugi del diplomske naloge vključuje bibliografijo popisanega leposlovja, ki sem jo postavila tudi na Wikivir.

Secondary abstract: Glas naroda (The People's Voice), a newspaper written and read by Slovene Americans, was in print from 1893 to 1963 in New York. In the thesis, I catalogued and analysed the number of literary works, published in the newspaper in the period between 1941 and 1945, literary genres and the authors of published literature. The second part of the thesis includes a bibliography of the catalogued literature, which is also available on Wikivir.
