Abstract

Danes so videoigre razširjene bolj kot kadarkoli. Eden popularnejših žanrov so igre igranja vlog, v katerih se igralec postavi v virtualni svet, ter se sooči z nalogami in izzivi, ki mu jih le ta ponuja. Razvijalci iger se trudijo, da so igre zanimive, raznolike, ter da igralca povežejo s samo igro. Pri tem veliko vlogo igra uporaba umetne inteligence. Cilj diplomskega dela je predstaviti komponente umetne inteligence, ki se uporabljajo v igrah igranja vlog.

Secondary abstract: Today, video games are more popular than ever. One of the most popular video game genres is role-playing games, in which the player finds himself in a virtual world and faces tasks and challenges. Developers are trying to make games enjoyable, diverse and to connect the player to the game itself. Artificial intelligence plays significant role in this. The main goal of this diploma is to learn about the components of artificial intelligence used in role-playing games.
