In recent years, quality has become one of the essential features of every company's business. Today, success requires the lowest possible selling price with the highest possible level of quality. Since competition is increasing, it is necessary to improve control and quality assurance, as this directly affects the performance of the company and its revenue.
The thesis consists of a theoretical part, followed by a practical part. At the beginning, we described the field and issues, goals and assumptions, and envisaged methods.
In the theoretical segment, we explained the definition of quality. We defined the meaning and objectives of quality assurance. In the following, we also presented ISO 9001 standard.
The practical part was followed by a presentation of the product, in relation to which quality control is discussed. As part of the control, the manufacturing process and overall quality control in the production itself are also presented. As part of the economic part, a cost of quality analysis was made. Based on the findings, an improvement of the quality assurance system was proposed. |
