Abstract

V sklopu diplomskega dela smo načrtovali in izvedli vrednotenje VR aplikacije s stališča uporabniške izkušnje in VR slabosti. Najprej smo opravili pregled tehnologij navidezne resničnosti in razvoja VR rešitev. Pred načrtovanjem vrednotenja smo pregledali različne načine ocenjevanja ter z upoštevanjem ciljev in omejitev vrednotenja izbrali ustrezno metodologijo in pripravili potrebna orodja. Izvedli smo uporabniško študijo z devetimi udeleženci. Za vrednotenje uporabniške izkušnje smo uporabili vprašalnik UEQ, za vrednotenje VR slabosti pa vprašalnik SSQ. Med testiranjem aplikacije smo zbirali tudi podatke o težavah pri uporabi, na koncu pa smo zbrali še nekaj splošnih vtisov. Za zbiranje odgovorov smo izdelali spletni obrazec, kar je bistveno olajšalo pridobivanje in analizo podatkov. Rezultati uporabniške študije so pokazali nadpovprečno uporabniško izkušnjo aplikacije in nizko prisotnost simptomov VR slabosti. Za večjo zanesljivost rezultatov bi morali v študijo vključiti več uporabnikov in zbrati več meritev, predvsem na področju VR slabosti. Na podlagi rezultatov posameznih lestvic vprašalnika UEQ in opažanj med uporabniško študijo smo identificirali problematična področja, kjer so potrebne izboljšave VR aplikacije. Nekaj zanimivih predlogov za izboljšavo smo pridobili tudi od samih udeležencev.

Secondary title: User experience evaluation of virtual reality solutions
Secondary abstract: This thesis discusses how we planned and carried out the evaluation of an educational VR application from the perspective of user experience and VR sickness. First, we reviewed the field of virtual reality technologies and the development of VR solutions. Before planning the evaluation, we reviewed different methods of evaluation and, considering the goals and limitations of the evaluation, selected the appropriate methodology and prepared the necessary tools. We conducted a user study with nine participants. The UEQ and SSQ questionnaires were used to evaluate user experience and VR sickness. During the user study, we also collected data on usability problems, and at the end we collected some general impressions. We created an online form to collect responses, which made the acquisition and analysis of data substantially easier. The results of the evaluation showed an above-average user experience and a low presence of VR sickness. For greater reliability of the results, more users would need to be included in the study and additional measurements would need to be collected (especially measurements regarding VR sickness). Based on results of the individual scales of the UEQ questionnaire and observations during the user study, we identified problem areas where improvements of the VR application are needed. We also received some interesting suggestions for improvement from the participants themselves.
