diplomsko delo

Abstract

Diplomsko delo zajema področje modeliranja in razvoja sončnih celic.

Secondary title: Optical modelling of randomly textured surfaces by using the ray tracing method
Secondary abstract: The thesis covers the field of modeling and development of solar cells. With the help of the CROWM (Combined Ray Optics/Wave Optics Model) simulator, which works on the basis of geometrical and wave optics, we will model solar cells with different randomly textured surfaces between layers of materials. Originally, a generator of randomly textured surfaces was created with calculations of the effective roughness and the correlation length. We use the mentioned parameters to separate and classify randomly textured surfaces. This was followed by the development of an automation program that sequentially generates the surface for us and performs the simulation. Finally, we evaluated the influence of different randomly textured surfaces on the efficiency of the simulated solar cells.
