| Secondary abstract: | The goal of the thesis was to build a measurement sistem that includes an energy meter ISKRA MC740 with a serial output and a programmable logic controller (PLC) Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200. In order to connect the energy meter and the PLC, the PLC had to be expanded with a communication modul SIEMENS CM1241, which enables data transfer via serial RS485 communication protocol. A great emphasis in thesis is also on the measurement data conversion from the energy meter to appropriate data type, that is suitabe for the PLC enviroment. Finnaly a user interface is designed to display basic data on the touch screen. |
