diplomsko delo
Abstract
Namen: Želeli smo ugotoviti stopnjo prebolelosti in precepljenosti proti okužbi z virusom SARS-CoV-2 med študenti Zdravstvene fakultete in njihovo mnenje o priporočenih preventivnih ukrepih. Razprava in zaključek: Z diplomskim delom in izvedeno anketo smo med študenti analizirali razširjenost okužbe z virusom SARS-CoV-2, precepljenost proti okužbi in mnenje študentov o posameznih ukrepih.

Introduction: COVID-19 is a highly contagious viral disease caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and can affect various organ systems, most often the respiratory system, digestive system, blood vessels and central nervous system. The virus can be transmitted by droplet, contact or aerosols. Therefore, preventive measures are important to limit transmission among the population Purpose: We wanted to determine morbidity and vaccination against COVID-19 among students of the Faculty of Health Sciences and their opinion on preventive measures. Methods: We conducted a voluntary and anonymous survey on students of the Faculty of Health Sciences (all programs, all years of study, 1st and 2nd cycle degree) on portal 1ka, and analyzed the final results. Results: A total of 468 students responded to the survey. Based on this number we analyzed the data. 42 % of respondents had SARS-CoV-2 infection. The three most common symptoms were loss of smell and/or taste, fever and headache. 29 % of infected with coronavirus had post covid conditions which included headaches, problems with breathing and sleeping, loss of smell and/or taste, and other less common. Of all respondents, ¾ students are vaccinated. After vaccination, majority observed mild general side effects, that resolved in the first few days. Among preventive measures, hand washing was the most logical, and using #Ostani zdrav application the least. Discussion and conclusion: With diploma work and the conducted survey, we analyzed the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection among students, vaccination against infection and student’s opinions on individual measures. The results are similar to the results performed in this field. Additional research that remains to be done will provide answers to possible additional questions and information on COVID-19 that has not yet been researched or confirmed. |
