magistrsko delo
Abstract

Impact of the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic (COVID 19) on consumer shopping habits |
Secondary abstract: |
The master's thesis deals with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the shopping habits of consumers in Slovenia. As a result of the measures that were in place to contain the epidemic, the operating hours of the stores changed. During the period of the worst measures against the epidemic, some shops with non-essential products were forced to close their doors. As a result, consumers had to satisfy their needs for certain products in a different way than before. On the other hand, taking into account the measures, retailers had to find a way to sell products to people in a different way. The vast majority of retailers have shifted their sales online. This marked the beginning of the era of online shopping. In the master's thesis, we wanted to find out with the help of a survey whether after the end of the epidemic the shopping habits of consumers have changed or have become the same as before. The results of the survey confirmed to us the fact that due to the epidemic, people began to buy certain products online and no longer in a physical store. With the obtained data we found that the COVID-19 epidemic affected the shopping habits of consumers. |
