Abstract

Magistrska naloga analizira napetosti in pomike, ki se pojavijo v stiskalni roki na hidravličnem krivilnem stroju. Geometrija stiskalne roke je modelirana v programskem paketu SolidWorks. Prav tako je numerična analiza izvedena s pomočjo SolidWorksa po metodi končnih elementov. Najprej je bila opravljena analiza že obstoječe roke, nato so bili analizirani rezultati in preučene možnosti za optimizacijo roke. Optimiralo se je po več korakih z več različnimi modeli. Na koncu je bila izmed vseh rešitev izbrana najboljša. Izbrali smo rešitev, ki ima dosti nižjo skupno maso kakor obstoječa roka. Prav tako ima enakomerneje razporejene napetosti v roki. Izdelana je bila tehniška dokumentacija in roka je bila pripravljena na prototipno izdelavo ter testiranje na krivilnem stroju.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of the pressing arm on a bending machine
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis analyses the stresses and displacements that occur on the press arm of a hydraulic bending machine. The geometry of the press arm was modelled in the SolidWorks software package. Numerical analysis was also carried out with the help of SolidWorks using the finite element method. First, an analysis of the existing arm was performed, then the results were analysed and possibilities for the optimization of the arm were examined. Optimization was carried out in several steps with several different arm models. In the end, we choose the best design out of all solutions. We chose a solution that has a much lower total mass than the existing arm and a better stress distribution. The technical documentation was prepared and everything was prepared for prototype production and testing on the actual bending machine.
