Prireditve v biatlonu na Pokljuki pred in po pojavu covida-19

Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava problem organizacije velikih športnih tekmovanj v biatlonu na Pokljuki po pojavu covida-19 in izbruhu epidemije. Delo temelji na rezultatih intervjuja z vodjo področja varnosti na Svetovnem prvenstvu v biatlonu na Pokljuki, ki se je odvijalo leta 2021. Rezultati intervjuja in osebna izkušnja ob sodelovanju na biatlonskem športnem dogodku, tako pred in po pojavu covida-19, so podlaga raziskavi, kako je lahko organizacija velikega športnega tekmovanja enako kvalitetna tako pred kot tudi po pojavu covidu-19. Raziskava je tako pokazala, da ob pravih smernicah s strani krovne športne organizacije, dobrega organizacijskega odbora in prilagodljivih vodij različnih področij športne prireditve ostajajo enako kvalitetne, kot so bile po pred epidemijo.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis deals with the problem of the organisation of major biathlon competitions in Pokljuka after the Covid-19 epidemic. The work is based on the results of an interview with the Head of Security at the World Biathlon Championships in Pokljuka in 2021. The results of the interview and the personal experience of participating in a biathlon sport event, both before and after the Covid-19 epidemic, provide a basis for the exploration of how the organisation of a major sport competition can be of the same quality both before and after the Covid-19 epidemic. The survey thus showed that with the right guidance from the main sport organisation, a good organization from organising committee and flexible leaders in different areas, sport events remain the same quality as they were before the epidemic.
