Abstract
Omrežje 5G je brezžično mobilno omrežje pete generacije, ki deluje s pomočjo radijskih valov v treh različnih frekvenčnih pasovih. Je izredno hitro mobilno omrežje, ki vključuje naslednjo generacijo gosto postavljenih majhnih baznih postaj z veliko prenosno hitrostjo. Omrežja 5G naj bi pokrivala potrebe različnih sektorjev, predvsem avtomobilske industrije, transporta, zdravstva, energetike, proizvodnje ter medijev in zabave.
V diplomski nalogi smo na osnovi pregledane razpoložljive literature obrazložili, kako so se mobilna omrežja razvijala v času do današnjega dne, kaj pravzaprav 5G omrežje predstavlja in kako deluje. Obrazložili smo, kakšno infrastrukturo potrebujemo za delovanje 5G omrežja ter kako so posamezni elementi infrastrukture medsebojno povezani. Dotaknili smo se novih tehnologij, ki jih je 5G omrežje prineslo s sabo; posebej smo obrazložili internet stvari(IoT), ki bo najverjetneje prinesel velik napredek na področju industrijskega razvoja. V nadaljevanju smo razložili, kako deluje varnost 5G omrežja, katera področja groženj prepoznavamo v 5G omrežju ter na kakšen način se lahko s temi grožnjami spopadamo.
V zadnjem delu naloge smo se posvetili raziskavi ozaveščenosti uporabnikov 5G omrežja z namenom ugotavljanja stopnje informacijske varnosti med uporabniki ter s tem tudi potrjevanju oziroma zanikanju naših hipotez, ki smo si jih zastavili ob snovanju naloge.

The 5G network is a fifth-generation wireless mobile network that works with the help of radio waves in three different frequency bands. It is an extremely fast mobile network that includes the next generation of densely placed small base stations with high transmission speeds. 5G networks cover the needs of various sectors, in particular automotive, transport, health, energy, manufacturing, and media and entertainment. In the thesis, based on the available literature, we explained how mobile networks have evolved to this day, what the 5G network really represents and how it works. We explained what infrastructure we need for the operation of the 5G network and how individual elements of the infrastructure are interconnected. We have touched on the new technologies that the 5G network has brought with it and we have specifically explained the Internet of Things (IoT) which is likely to bring great progress in industrial development. After that, we explained how the security of the 5G network works, what areas of threats we identify in the 5G network, and how we can deal with these threats.
In the last part of the thesis, we focused on the survey of the awareness of users of the 5G network intending to determine the level of information security among users and, thus, also to confirm or deny our hypotheses which we set when designing the thesis. |
