magistrsko delo
Abstract
V magistrskem delu proučimo zgodovino in nastanek Godalnega kvarteta Tartini (prej Godalni kvartet Slovenske Filharmonije), ki ga je leta 1983 ustanovil takratni umetniški vodja Slovenske filharmonije, skladatelj Ivo Petrić. Na podlagi osebne komunikacije sledi predstavitev življenjepisov nekdanjih in sedanjih članov zasedbe Godalnega kvarteta Tartini. Zaradi pomanjkanja literature je s študijami in analizami osebnega arhiva Društva Tartini izdelan pregled izvajalskega opusa, pomembnejših koncertov, turnej in sodelovanj z drugimi glasbeniki.

In our master's thesis, we examine the history and creation of the Tartini String Quartet (formerly the String Quartet of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra), which was founded in 1983 by the former artistic director of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the composer Ivo Petrić. The résumés of some former and present members of the Tartini String Quartet that are based on personal communications are also presented. Due to the lack of literature, an overview of the artists’ important concerts, tours and collaborations with other musicians was made through the study and analysis of the Tartini Society’s personal archive. With the help of music reviews and articles, published in both domestic and foreign media, we present an assessment of the ensemble’s quality. The thesis also includes a description of the Tartini String Quartet through the eyes of other artists or musicians who have worked with the ensemble at any time. Among other things, we give the reason for the award of the Prešeren Fund, which the Tartini String Quartet received in 2001. The last part focuses on the CDs that the Tartini String Quartet recorded on its own or in collaboration with other labels. The main purpose of the master's thesis is to offer a comprehensive presentation of the Tartini String Quartet, including its creative work, contribution to artistic creation and its importance for the recognition of Slovenian music and art. |
