Abstract
V tej nalogi smo z uporabo metode optimizacije topologije iskali najustreznejšo obliko ohišja elektromotorja, ki bo pri čim nižji porabi materiala izpolnjevala zahtevane zmogljivosti izdelka. Najprej smo raziskali teorijo optimizacije topologije in v programu Wolfram Mathematica pripravili program za optimizacijo topologije. Delovanje programa smo demonstrirali na upogibno obremenjenem konzolno vpetem nosilcu. Nadaljevali smo z topološko optimizacijo mehanskih in termičnih zmogljivosti prirobnice, ki smo jo izvedli v programskem paketu Ansys. Ansys je program za reševanje problemov z metodo končnih elementov, omogoča pa tudi optimizacijo topologije. Uporabili smo metodo SIMP. Pridobljeni geometriji pri izbranih robnih in obremenitvenih pogojih, najbolje izpolnjujeta ciljni funkciji problema in predstavljata optimalni rešitvi obravnavanih funkcij. Iz geometrij smo nato razbrali značilne geometrijske lastnosti, te ugotovitve pa konstrukterju služijo kot pomoč pri oblikovanju prirobnice elektromotorja.

Thermomechanical topology optimization of the electric motor housing |
Secondary abstract: |
In this work, we have used the topology optimization method to try to find the best geometry for an electric motor housing, using as little material as possible and meeting the prescribed performance requirements. First, we studied the theory of topology optimization and then, using Wolfram Matematica, made a program for simple topology optimization. We demonstrated the programs functionality on a cantilever beam. Using Ansys software package, we then carried out a topology optimization of the mechanical and thermal capabilities of the housing. The program enables problem solving with finite element method and also has topology optimization capabilities. We chose SIMP method. The resulting geometries are optimal solutions of the objective functions for the given boundary and loading conditions. From the obtained geometries we extrapolated the characteristic geometric properties, which a designer can use as guidelines when attempting to design an electric motor housing. |
