Abstract
Uporovno točkovno varjenje bakra v praksi predstavlja velik izziv, saj je baker eden od najboljših električnih in toplotnih prevodnikov, kar neugodno vpliva na generiranje toplote v zvarni coni. Pri aplikaciji zatesnitve bakrene cevi imamo opravka tudi s plastično deformacijo stene, ki lahko povzroči razpoke v materialu na mestu preoblikovanja. V delu smo se osredotočili na izzive pri zapiranju/zatesnitvi vakuumske bakrene cevi, pri čemer med procesom varjenja in po njem ne sme priti do vdora zraka. Parametre smo določili s pomočjo načrtovanja in izvedbe eksperimentov. S tem smo poglobili znanje o procesu z minimalnim številom eksperimentov. Eksperimentalno smo preverili tesnost zvarov po varjenju in izdelali toplotno cev. S pomočjo testa toplotne cevi in njenega delovanja smo lahko sklepali o vdoru zraka v cev med procesom varjenja. Ugotovili smo pomembne parametre za uporabo tehnologije v tej aplikaciji s 95% uspešnostjo.

Secondary abstract: |
Resistance spot welding of copper is a big challenge in practice, because copper is one of the best electrical and heat conductors. These characteristics have a bad influence on heat generation in welding zone. In applications where a tube wants to be sealed, there is a plastic deformation present. This can cause cracks in material on spots, where the most deformation is applied. The thesis focuses on analyzing the challenges of closing and sealing the tube, where air intrusion must not occur during or after the welding process. The parameters were determined using Design of experiment methodology. This method allows a deeper understanding of the process with minimum number of trials. The tightness of the welds was checked experimentally and heat pipes were made and tested. All parameters for successful use of the technology in these aplication were established. The proces, with established parameters, has 95% successfulnes. |
