Organizacija udeležencev zimskih olimpijskih iger v Pekingu v luči epidemije COVID 19

Abstract

Olimpijske igre so prav poseben dogodek za vsakega profesionalnega športnika, ki se odvijajo vsake štiri leta. Po navadi je ta dogodek izpeljan tako, da je čimbolj prijazen za vse, ki se ga udeležijo. Zaradi razsajajoče epidemije pa so bile zimske olimpijske igre v Pekingu nekaj drugačnega in nekaj posebnega. V magistrski nalogi smo zato opisali kakšne pogoje so morali izpolnjevati vsi, ki so se udeležili olimpijskih iger, od športnikov pa do podpornega osebja. Poleg tega smo opisali tudi vse preventivne ukrepe, ki so jih izvajali na olimpijskih igrah in tudi v olimpijski vasi. S pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika pa smo pridobili tudi mnenja in odzive iz prve roke, saj so z nami delili svoje dragocene izkušnje in občutke glede iger športniki in spremljevalci, ki so se udeležili zimskih olimpijskih iger. Na kratko smo tudi opisali cepiva, katera so omogočila športnikom udeležbo na igrah, pojasnili zakaj so cepiva učinkovita in do kakšnih stranskih učinkov lahko pride po cepljenju.

Secondary abstract:	The Olympic Games are a very special event for every professional athlete, taking place every four years. Typically, this event is conducted in a way that is as friendly as possible to all who attend the Olympic Games. However, due to the raging epidemic, the Beijing Winter Olympics were something different and something special. In the master's thesis, we therefore described the conditions that had to be met by all those who participated in the Olympic Games, from athletes to support staff. In addition, we also described all the preventive measures that were implemented at the Olympic Games and in the Olympic Village. With the help of a questionnaire, we also obtained first-hand opinions and responses from the athletes and companions who attended the Olympic Games, as they shared with us their valuable experiences and feelings about the Olympic Games. We also briefly described the vaccines that allowed athletes to participate the Olympic Games, explained why vaccines are effective, and what side effects can occur after vaccination.
