Abstract
Ocenili smo relativno natančnost skupne gostote pomladka, gostote pomladka jelke in javorja, poškodovanosti pomladka, gostote pomladka v drugi debelinski stopnji, če v vzorec vključimo eno ploskvico (2,25 m2), dve (4,50 m2), tri (6,75 m2) ali vse štiri ploskvice (9,00 m2).

Estimation of possibility for regeneration inventory on permanent sampling plots |
Secondary abstract: |
A possibility of supplementation of forest inventory on permanent sampling plots (PSPs) with inventory of regeneration (dbh < 10 cm) was examined. On each of the 36 analyzed PSPs four small plots (1.5 * 1.5 m) were established for registering tree species composition, height structure and damage of regeneration. Relative accuracy of estimations for regeneration density, damage of regeneration, density of fir and sycamore regeneration, and density of regeneration in the second diameter class were evaluated, when one (2.25 m2), two (4.50 m2), three (6.75 m2) or all four plots (9.00 m2) were included in the sample. The highest variability of the regeneration estimations was in the pole stands and in the case when only one plot (2.25 m2) was included in the sample. The relative confidence interval decreased with increasing size of the analyzed plot, particularly if we increased the size of the sample plot to 6.25 m2. The relative accuracy of regeneration estimations differed significantly. The size of the sample (number of analyzed PSPs) influenced the relative accuracy of the estimations which was significantly improving up to 30-40 analyzed PSPs. |
