Abstract

Secondary title: Impact of COVID-19 on environment pollution
Secondary abstract: Pollution and burdening of the environment is because of man and his encroachment on the nature. The most common forms of environmental pollution include air, water, land, light and sound pollution. With the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus we introduced isolation of the population in an attempt to contain its spreading worldwide. We were also forced to stop industry and transport, which are considered to be two of the biggest polluters of the environment. Despite attempts to contain this disease, in less than three months, the virus spread throughout the world and most of the population found themselves in forced quarantine. Almost all world traffic and industry has stopped, and with the stoppage, the problem of environmental pollution has largely been solved. Humans cause the greatest environmental pollution through their actions, so during the COVID-19 virus pandemic and the measures we took in the hope of containing the pandemic we recorded major changes in environmental pollution. Changes were recorded all over the world and the largest ones were measured in industrially intensive areas and in large cities where COVID-19 measures were introduced. In the research work, we examined the period before and during the execution of the coronavirus measures. We immediately noticed a visible improvement in all forms of pollutants. As a result, during the implementation of corona measures, the content of toxic gases and dust particles in the air decreased, as well as light, sound, water and soil pollution.
