Abstract
Književne teme obsegajo največji del slovenske esejistike. Interes pisočih je bil usmerjen h književnim delom, njihovim slogovnim in idejnim določnicam, razmišljal je o piscih in njihovih književnih opusih, esejiziral o ontoloških vprašanjih literature in podobno. Del predvsem mlajših piscev in esejistov srednje generacije je literaturo postavljal v območje medbesedilnih vezi, kulturnih, socialnih, zgodovinskih, tudi političnih in ekonomskih kontekstov. Ob upoštevanju, da so pisci pripadali različnim svetovnonazorskim, političnim, filozofskim in ideološkim krogom moramo ugotoviti, da je književna esejistika temeljito razširila in poglobila poznavanje (slovenske) književnosti

The essay and literature in the second half of the 20th century |
Secondary abstract: |
The literary essay is the largest representative of Slovene essay writing. The interest of the writers was focused on literary works, their stylistic and ideal parameters, it reflected on the writers and their literary opuses, discussed ontological questions of literarure, etc. Some, particularly younger writers and essayists of the middle generation, placed literature in the realm of intertextual relations and in cultural, social, historical, as well as political and economic contexts. Taking into account that the authors belonged to various world-views, political, philosophical, and ideological circles, one must conclude that the literary essay thoroughly broadened and deepened the knowledge of (Slovene) literature |
