Abstract

Pomembna naloga vsakega naroda je ohranjanje kulturne dediščine iz roda v rod. Ljudska glasbila, pesmi, plesi in običaji ob maternem jeziku budijo, utrjujejo in ohranjajo narodno zavest. Magistrsko delo z naslovom Koroško svatovsko izročilo in analiza izbranih priredb ljudskih svatovskih pesmi Ziljske doline predstavlja svatovsko izročilo v pesmi, plesu, običajih in navadah, od sredine 19. stoletja do začetka prve svetovne vojne. Prvi del magistrskega dela geografsko in zgodovinsko opredeljuje Koroško, koroško ljudsko pesem in njene pomembne raziskovalce, zapisovalce, pisce priredb in poznavalce. Sledi poglavje o koroških svatovskih pesmih, običajih, svatovski obleki in plesih. V nadaljevanju magistrskega dela je poudarek na analizi priredb Ziljskih ljudskih svatovskih pesmi.

Secondary abstract:	An important task of every nation is the preservation of cultural heritage passed from one generation to the next. Folk instruments, music, dances and customs alongside the mother tongue awaken, strengthen and preserve a nation's consciousness. This master's thesis with the title; Carinthia Wedding Traditions and Analysis of Selected Arrangements of Folk Wedding Songs of the Gail Valley, is a glance into the wedding customs through music, dance, folk customs and traditions from the middle of the 19th century up until the 1st World War. The first part of the thesis examines the geographical and historical significance of Carinthia, its folk songs and their researchers, recorders, arrangement writers and experts. The second part consists of Carinthia wedding songs, customs, wedding clothing and dances. The final part of the master's thesis is an examination of arrangements analysis of selected Gail Valley wedding songs.
