Abstract

Secondary title: Optimisation of the flow of orders in a flexible manufacturing systems
Secondary abstract: In this paper we propose a method of searching for the optimum order flow through a flexible manufacturing system, with respect to transport times, preparation/completion times, manufacturing times and relevant costs. The paper defines two fitness functions describing the problem of the optimisationof times and costs of the execution of order. Then, using the genetic-algorithm method, a flow is found, such that the values of the fitness functions are as small as possible.
