Koncept etnične enodimenzionalnosti francoskega državljanstva v pogojih globalizacije

Abstract

Članek poskuša osvetliti naravo francoskega državljanstva v pogojih globalizacije. Francosko državljanstvo je specifičen fenomen, kajti francoska revolucija je uvedla novost v pojmovanju državljanstva, politično-ideološki princip sprejemanja v politično skupnost. Če bi ta princip v celoti veljal, potem Francija ne bi smela imeti problemov z napetostjo med etnijo in državo. Realnost pa kaže, da Francija izvaja eno najbolj nasilnih oblik asimilacije. Esej poskuša osvetliti ta paradoks in raziskati izvore francoske etnične identitete. V zadnjem delu eseja je podano videnje vpliva globalizacije na naravo francoskega državljanstva.

Secondary abstract:	ABSTRACT: The paper is an attempt to clarify the nature of French citizenship in conditions of globalisation. French citizenship is a specific phenomenon since the French Revolution had introduced a novelty in the very concept of citizenship, the politically-ideological principle of acceptance into the political community. Had this principle been valid completely, France should not have any problems with tensions between ethnicity and the state. But reality shows that France is executing one of the most violent forms of assimilation. This contribution tries to throw light upon this paradox and to study the origins of French ethnic identity. In conclusion, a view on the influence of globalisation on the nature of French citizenship is presented.
