Abstract

Po končani prvi svetovni vojni je imela nemška manjšina v Mariboru dokaj močan gospodarski pložaj. Lahko je vplivala na socialno odvisne sloje prebivalstva. Mariborski Nemci so v času med obema vojnama skrbno čuvali in gojili svojo identiteto. Imeli so svoja društva, dva časopisa, v mestu je bil tudi sedež seniorata nemške evangeličanske cerkve. Po letu 1933 so se usmerjali vse bolj nacistično in v letu 1941 odigrali vlogo pete kolone

Secondary abstract: After the First World War the German minority had in Maribor a fairly strong economic position. It was able to influence on the socially dependent part of population. The Germans in Maribor attentively treasured and cherished their identity. They had their own societies, two newspapers. In Maribor there was also the seat of the German Evangelist Church. After 1933 the Germans in Maribor were more and more nazi oriented and in 1941 played the role of the fifth colony
