Secondary abstract: | After the First World War the German minority had in Maribor a fairly strong economic position. It was able to influence on the socially dependent part of population. The Germans in Maribor attentively treasured and cherished their identity. They had their own societies, two newspapers. In Maribor there was also the seat of the German Evangelist Church. After 1933 the Germans in Maribor were more and more nazi oriented and in 1941 played the role of the fifth colony |
