Abstract

Preučevali smo kompatibilizacijske učinke poli(stiren-b-butadien-b-stirena) (SBS) na morfologijo in mehanske lastnosti nemešljive mešanice polipropilena (PP) in polistirena (PS) v različnih masnih razmerjih. Za nekompatibilizirane in kompatibilizirane PP/PS mešanice smo določili vrednosti zarezne udarne žilavosti, meje plastičnosti, raztezka na meji plastičnosti in Youngovega modula v odvisnosti od masnega razmerja PP in PS ter količine dodanega SBS. Eksperimentalno določene vrednosti meje plastičnosti binarnih PP/PS mešanic smo primerjali z vrednostmi, dobljenimi iz teoretičnih modelov.

Secondary abstract: Compatibilization effects of poly(styrene-b-butadiene-b-styrene) (SBS) on morphology and mechanical properties of immiscible blends of polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) with different weight ratios were studied. Notched impact strength, yield stress, elongation at yield and Young's modulus in dependence on PP and PS weight ratio as well as SBS concentration were measured. Experimental yield stress data were compared with the values calculated by different theoretical models.
