strategije, metakognicija in relativistično mišljenje

Abstract

Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti razvojne spremembe v nekaterih kognitivnih in metakognitivnih komponentah reševanja slabo definiranih problemov v odrasli dobi. Poskusne osebe štirih starostnih skupin (adolescenti, mlajši odrasli, osebe v zreli odrasli dobi in starejši odrasli) so reševale različne slabo definirane probleme, njihovo glasno razmišljanje smo snemali. Zavedanje lastnih mentalnih procesov ob reševanju kaže podobno razvojno krivuljo kot relativistično mišljenje: slabo izraženost v adolescenci, porast v zgodnji odrasli dobi, višek v obdobju zrelosti in upad v pozni odrasli dobi

Secondary abstract: The aim of the study was to research developmental changes in some cognitive and metacognitive components of solving ill-defined problems during adult development. Subjects of different age (adolescents, students, mature adults and older adults), were solving different ill-defined problems and their thinking-aloud was taped. Further they answered a metacognitive questionnaire. Differences in performance were significant in all problems: best results in divergent production obtained the student-group and best performance on most dialectical problems showed the mature-adults' group. Accuracy of metacognitive statements was significantly better in the mature-adult and the student groups. Awareness of own mental processes during problem-solving showed a similar developmental tendency as relativistic thought: low ability in adolescence, increase in early adulthood, highest point in mature adulthood and decline in late years
