Samopodoba otrok in mladostnikov Mladinskega doma Maribor

Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava samopodobo otrok in mladostnikov Mladinskega doma Maribor. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 26 otok oz. mladostnikov Mladinskega doma Maribor, v starostnem razponu od deset do sedemnajst let. Predvsem sem se osredotočila na to, ali se samopodoba razlikuje glede na spol, starost, čas bivanja, razlog prihoda v Mladinski dom Maribor, učni uspeh, obšolske aktivnosti, počutje, prijatelje in vzgojitelje v Mladinskem domu Maribor, osebe izven Mladinskega doma Maribor, željo vračanja domov oz. k sorodnikom, kontroliranje čustev in vedenja ter osebne vrednote. Raziskavo sem izvedla s pomočjo treh anketnih vprašalnikov: Vprašalnik o življenju v Mladinskem domu Maribor, Vprašalnik samopodobe SPA (Garcia, Gutierrez, Musitu, Kranjc in Pečjak, 1998) in Lestvica osebnih vrednot (Pogačnik, 2002). Analiza rezultatov je pokazala, da obstajajo razlike v samopodobi glede na letošnji šolski uspeh, vrsto obšolskih aktivnosti, počutje, željo vračanja domov oz. k sorodnikom in povezave med samopodobo in osebnimi vrednotami (lepota/umetnost, osebna varnost/ zdravje, počitek, svoboda/neodvisnost in športno udejstvovanje).

Secondary title:	Self-image of children and adults at the Youth Centre Maribor
Secondary abstract:	My Diploma work deals with the self-image of children and adults at the Youth Centre Maribor. The research includs 26 children and adults at the age ten to seventeen. I have mainly concentrated on the problem, how self-image differs in regard of sex, age, time and reason for inclusion to the Youth Centre Maribor, their school success, local activity courses, feelings, friends and educators at the Youth Centre Maribor. It also includes their relations with the persons outside the Youth Centre Maribor, their wish to return home or to relatives, their self-control of emotions and behaviour connected with their sense of beauty and their moral sense. The research was made by the help of three different questionnaires: the questionnaire about life at the Youth Centre Maribor, the questionnaire about self-image SPA (Garcia, Gutierrez, Musitu, Kranjc and Pečjak, 1998) and Personal Values Scale (Pogačnik, 2002). The analysis of results has shown, that differences concerning self-image appear according with the latest school success, the variety of local activity courses, feelings, their wish to return home or to relatives and connections with self-image and personal values (beauty/art, personal safety/health, rest, freedom/independence and sports activities).
