Abstract

V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge so predstavljene osnovne lastnosti jekla, kemijske sestave, predstavljen je postopek poboljšanja izbranih jekel in postopki preizkušanja mehanskih lastnosti. Opisane so tudi lastnosti legirnih elementov in vpliv ogljika na kaljivost. Predstavljen je tudi Jominyjev preizkus, na podlagi katerega je vrednotena kaljivost. Spoznamo postopek popuščanja in njegov vpliv na mikrostrukturo in trdoto. Na podlagi rezultatov meritev trdote in nateznega preizkusa ter pregleda mikrostrukture je predstavljen izbor materialov, ki so ustrezni za izdelavo vijakov.

Secondary title: Comparison of mechanical properties and microstructures of screws made of different materials after quenching and tempering
Secondary abstract: The theoretical part of the master's thesis presents the basic properties of steel, chemical composition of steel, the process of improving selected steels and procedures for testing mechanical properties. The properties of alloying elements and the influence of carbon on hardenability are described. The Jominy test is presented, based on which hardenability is evaluated. We get to know the tempering process and its influence on microstructure and hardness. Based on the results of hardness measurements, tensile test and microstructure inspection, a selection of materials suitable for the manufacture of screws is presented.
