Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je sinteza magnetne tekočine na osnovi maghemita (y- Fe2O3), oblečenega z natrijevo soljo dekstrana (CM-dekstrana), dispergiranega v nosilni tekočini vodi. V diplomskem delu navajamo dva načina priprave zgoraj navedene magnetne tekočine. Na podlagi rezultatov analize z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo (XRD) smo izbrali sintezni postopek, pri katerem smo ugotavljali vpliv količine prevleke na velikost oblečenih maghemitnih delcev ter določili njeno optimalno količino, pri kateri je magnetna tekočina še stabilna. Delce smo karakterizirali z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo (XRD), s termogravimetrično analizo (TGA) s transmisijskim elektronskim mikroskopom (TEM) in Fourierjevo transformacijsko infrardečo spektroskopijo (FTIR).

Secondary abstract: We have prepared magnetic fluids of carboxymethyl dextran (CM-dextran) coated maghemite (y-Fe2O3) nanoparticles dispersed in water. In this experimental work we used two methods of synthesis. We used one of these methods to find out the influence of coating on the magnetic properties of maghemite particles. We have determined the optimal mass of CM-dextran, wich gives the stable magnetic fluid. The nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), transmission elektron microscopy (TEM) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).
