Abstract

Doslednost pri postavljanju meja in pravil v vzgoji otrok je eden izmed pomembnih pogojev, da smo lahko uspešni. S tem, ko otroku postavimo meje in pravila, ki jih tudi sami dosledno izvajamo, damo otroku vedeti, da jih jemljemo resno. Resno nas bodo vzeli tudi otroci. Doslednost za vsako ceno ne upošteva različnih okoliščin in tega, da se spreminjajo tako otroci kot odrasli. Popolna doslednost nas sili v vlogo igralcev, ki igrajo neko vlogo daleč od tega, kar v resnici smo in kar občutimo. Dosledni starši so tisti, ki imajo natančna pričakovanja in se na enako vedenje odzovejo vedno enako. Če bomo to dosledno izvajali, bo otrok kmalu ugotovil, kakšna je povezava med njegovim vedenjem in našimi odzivi. Potrebno je veliko časa, da se meje staršev dobro primejo in jih bo otrok začel dosledno upoštevati. Zato morajo biti odrasli pri tem potrpežljivi in vztrajni. Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti: pomen postavljanja meja in pravil pri otroku, ali starši otroku postavljajo meje in pravila in kako so dosledni pri upoštevanju le-teh, pomen doslednosti pri postavljanju meja in pravil, kako pogosto postavljene meje in pravila upoštevajo otroci in preveriti vlogo staršev pri postavljanju meja in pravil. Zanimalo me je, katere oblike otrokovega vedenja starše najbolj motijo.

Secondary abstract:	Consistency of setting limits and rules in children's upbringing is one of significant conditions to achieve success. Consistent maintaining of the limits and rules set to children will precisely inform them about their being respected and develop clildren's belief and trust as well. However, consistency at all costs inolves neither different circumstances nor the stages of constant human development. Ultimate consistency forces us to handle a role being far from who we really are and what we really feel. Costitent parents are those with realistic expectations. As they will always react likewise in equal situations, children can easily find out the connection between their own behaviour and the responses of their parents. Parents will need a lot of time, patience and dedication to establish firm limits always considered by their children. The aim of the dissertation is to ascertain as follows: the role of parents as well as the significance of consistent setting limits and rules to children; whether parents set limits and rules to children at all and consistentcy of managing them; and, finally, how often children follow the established boundaries. The study was also conducted to provide the feedback about the issues of childrens' most irritating behavior.
