diplomsko delo
Abstract

The incorporation of modern information and communication technology in Slovene language and literature lessons |
Secondary abstract: |
The methods of teaching a mother tongue are changing through the history. Today modern information and communication technology (ICT) plays an important role in the school field. The incorporation of modern information and communication technology in Slovene language and literature lessons is the subject and the title of this work at the same time. The aim was to research the employment of modern ICT among Slavist teachers at primary and secondary schools in Slovenia, based on the limited sample of 50. The competent agencies offer opportunities to make teachers more proficient in computer technology and they provide appropriate equipment for the classrooms. Along with gradual incorporation of modern ICT in Slovene lessons the necessary renovation of the curriculum is taking its course. The findings of this study, based on results of the questionnaire, are stimulative. The questionnaire was filled in by 50 teachers of Slovene schools in Styria. The computer has proved to be efficient for classes of Slovene. Teachers use internet and Microsoft Word to prepare lesson plans, tests and handouts. Despite the generational gulf in mastering computer technology, which was caused by the great advancement of computer science in the last decade or two, we can say that teachers of Slovene are qualified satisfactorily. They are prepared to take up the challenge of computer literacy as a way to new knowledge and more effective teaching. |
