Abstract

Z empiričnim diplomskim delom sem poskušala ugotoviti, ali obstajajo razlike v obsegu besednega zaklada predšolskih otrok glede na čas vpisa v vrtec in kakšen dejavnik je pri tem otrokov spol. To sem ugotavljala s pomočjo 4 nalog, ki sem jih ponudila otrokom. Naloge so od otrok zahtevale nadaljevanje zgodbe, izmišljanje zgodbe, poimenovanje in opis sličic. Moj pogovor z otroki je potekal individualno v manjšem prostoru, njihove odgovore sem sproti posnela. Pri analizi dobljenih rezultatov sem ugotovila, da je razlika v obsegu besednega zaklada glede na čas vpisa majhna, a so precejšnje razlike v tem, kako otroci določen stavek povedo. Otroci, ki so vpisani v vrtec od 1. leta naprej, uporabljajo slogovno ustreznejše besede in hitreje oblikujejo stavke.

Secondary abstract: The aim of this diploma paper was to find out whether there are any differences in vocabulary between preschool children according to their entry in the kindergarten and also the influence of the child's sex. This was done with four tasks designed for children. They had to continue a story, make up a story, name and describe some pictures. Conversations with children were individual, in a small room, their answers were recorded. The analysis showed small differences in vocabulary according to the time of entry. However, there were a lot of differences in sentences. Children, who entered kindergarten when they were one year old, use more appropriate words and are faster in creating sentences.
