Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je bil analizirati spremembe vegetacije v pragozdnih rezervatih Donačka gora in Belinovec v okviru ponovnega popisa 24 ploskev iz leta 1980. Ploskve smo poiskali na novo, s pomočjo kart in opisov položaja ploskev iz prvih popisov. Popis smo izvedli leta 2019 po prvotni, Piskernikovi fitocenološki metodi. Na podlagi primerjave popisov smo ugotovili zmanjšanje števila vrst in zmanjšanje vrstne pestrosti pritalne vegetacije v obeh pragozdnih rezervatih. Za analizo sprememb smo uporabili povprečne Ellenbergove fitocenološke vrednosti rastlin. Primerjali smo tudi zgradbo življenjskega spektra rastlin. Ugotovili smo, da se je najbolj znižala prisotnost hemikriptofitov in vrst z večjo potrebo po svetlobi, medtem ko se je delež fanerofitov in bolj sencovzdržnih vrst povečal. Predvidevamo, da je to posledica učinkov sestojne dinamike (slabše svetlobne razmere zaradi zastiranja podstojne plasti). Analiza podatkov je pokazala na proces homogenizacije vegetacije pragozdnih rezervatov k bolj sencovzdržnim vrstam. Nadaljnje raziskave na temo pritalne vegetacije v teh pragozdnih rezervatih so zaželene.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the thesis was to analyze understory vegetation changes in the old-growth forest reserves Donačka gora and Belinovec between 1980-2019. Resurveys of 24 nonpermanent vegetation plots were done using the Piskernik phytosociological method, which was also used in the original surveys. We found changes in species richness in both reserves. We used Ellenberg’s phytosociological values to compare possible vegetation changes in the time between both surveys. The most changes were found in loss of light loving species and hemicryptophytes. But the percentage of shade-tolerant species and phanerophytes increased. We assume these changes are consequences of canopy closure. The analysis showed the process of understory vegetation homogenization toward more shade-tolerant species. Further research of vegetation change in these two old growth reserves should be continued in the future.
