Abstract
Diplomska naloga predstavlja pomen vloge starih staršev. Otroci in starejši ljudje se dobro razumejo, ker imajo oboji več časa in čustev kot pa srednja generacija. Vnuki potrebujejo stare starše, kakor tudi stari starši potrebujejo vnuke. Otroci od babice in dedka prejmejo modrosti in izkušnje, onadva pa od vnukov radoživost in nove poglede na sedanji svet. Diplomska naloga je nastala z namenom ugotoviti, kolikšen je pravzaprav še delež starih staršev pri vzgoji in varstvu otrok in kakšni so odnosi med njimi. Z deskriptivno in kavzalno - neeksperimentalno metodo empiričnega pedagoškega raziskovanja je bila preučena pogostost in kakovost stikov otrok s starimi starši ter splošno mnenje osebnostnih karakteristik starih staršev. V okviru tega pa še obstoj razlik glede na stratum osnovne šole. Rezultati so pokazali, da imajo otroci pogoste stike s svojimi starimi starši in da se z njimi zelo dobro razumejo. Pogosto so deležni njihove dobronamerne pomoči. Dedek in babica si zmeraj vzameta čas za vnuka, kadar ju le ta potrebuje. Pri otrocih so izrazito v ospredju želje, ki govorijo v prid stikom in večji vlogi starih staršev, saj imajo pozitiven odnos do njih. Med otroci iz podeželja in mesta ni prišlo do bistvenih razlik glede na pomen in vlogo starih staršev. Dedek in babica imata posebno mesto v življenju vnukov, tako za učence iz podeželske kot tudi mestne osnovne šole.

Diploma work represents the role of grandparents. Children and older people understand one another well, because both have more time and emotions than the middle generation. Grandchildren need grandparents as well grandparents need their grandchildren. Children get wisdom and experience from their grandmother and grandfather, but they get loving life and the new view of the present time. My diploma work was made with the purpose to find out how much grandparents educate and protect children and what their relationship between them are. With descriptive, causal - not experimental method empiric pedagogical exploration, the frequency and quality of contacts between them and general opinion of grandparents' personal characteristics were taught. And there is also the difference between them according to the stratum of the primary school. The results have shown that children have regular contacts with their grandparents and that they understand one another well. They are often given help. Grandfather and grandmother always have time for their grandchild, when he or she needs them. Children's wishes are dominant therefore their grandparents have greater role and more contacts. Their relationship is positive. According to the importance and the role of grandparents there are not bigger differences between the children who live in the country and those in towns. |
