Abstract

Poznavanje in raba različnih učnih metod in tehnik pri učenju omogočajo boljše, hitrejše in zabavnejše pomnjenje učne vsebine. Prav tako s spoznavanjem načinov učenja, ki ustrezajo in z znanjem po njihovi uporabi pri učenju svoje učenje obogatimo, smo bolj organizirani, znamo učenje načrtovati, ostajamo motivirani in nadgrajujemo svoje predhodne izkušnje v različnih okoliščinah v življenju. V magistrskem delu obravnavamo različne metode in tehnike učenja, s poudarkom na Freestyle učenju, pri katerem učenci spoznavajo metode in tehnike učenja, ki razvijajo kompetenco učenja učenja. Raziskava temelji na študiji primera. Rezultati so pokazali, da je učenka v zgodnjem obravnavanju za učne težave po učnih urah Freestyle učenja usvojila njej ustrezne metode in tehnike učenja, ki so ji pomagale k izboljšanju pristopa do učenja in napredka pri učenju ter ocenah pri posameznih šolskih predmetih. Ugotavljamo, da je uporaba različnih metod in tehnik učenja v sklopu Freestyle učenja koristna, saj učenci potrebujejo usmeritve, kateri načini učenja so zanje primerni ter tako razvijajo potencial za samostojno učenje in boljši učni uspeh.

Secondary title: Encouraging learning to learn competencies with freestyle learning
Secondary abstract: The knowledge of various learning methods and techniques and their use enable us to memorise teaching contents better, faster and in a more entertaining way. By discovering and using new ways of learning which suit us we improve our learning, we become more organised and we can plan our learning, we remain motivated and we are able to upgrade our previous experiences in different circumstances in life. In the thesis, various learning methods and techniques are presented, the emphasis being on Freestyle learning, which enables students to discover learning methods and techniques that develop the learning to learn competence. Our research is based on a case study of a student whose learning disabilities are in the process of identification. The results of the research indicate that after only a few lessons of Freestyle learning, the student has acquired some learning methods and techniques that suited her and helped her develop a better approach to learning as well as progress in learning and better school marks at different subjects. Therefore, we conclude that the use of various learning methods and techniques as a part of Freestyle learning is beneficial for students as they need some guidance and direction about which ways of learning are appropriate for them so they can develop the potential for self-study and a better educational attainment.
