magistrsko delo

Abstract

Mešanje generacij in druženje vspodnuja javni program in odprt prostor z raznoliko vsebino.

Secondary title: Conceptual design of the cohabitation of different generations in the suburban environment of Maribor
Secondary abstract: The master’s thesis tries to answer the problem of living for the elderly as well as the younger. An important role in the design is the environment, where the type of living in a village is way different that the one in a city. The development of the building concept took place primarily in thinking about how to combine collective and individual ways of living and how to create a settlement for several generational groups. The typology of intergenerational coexistence responds to the set problem. The possibility of connecting and living in a community is offered, as well as the possibility of an completely independent living. The housing units are designed flexibly with the possibility of arranging according to one’s own needs and wishes. The mixing of generations and socializing is stimulated by a public program and an open space with diverse content. The goal is also to connect institutions and residents from the surrounding areas.
